There's a sign for the Fiery Gizzard trail - this is the right place to start for Sycamore Falls. There is a sign for the Grundy Forest Loop which would get you to the turnoff also but would take longer. The Fiery Gizzard trail is next to a lovely creek with a number of cascades.
